A heart warming and inspiring story of a teenage girl who has risen from the depths of proverty to shock the nation in her national record breaking results in our premier examination. Nik Nur Madihah Nik Mohd Kamal scored 19 A1 and one A2 in SPM 2008. It is quite special because she is the daughter of a fisherman who lives in poverty.

She was of the best students in the 2006 National Secondary Level Examination (PMR) examinations, she would like to prove the community that fishermen's child is also copable of achieving excellent achievement like others, so she challenge herself to make history with 20A. She has been offered a loan from Mara to continue her studies abroad. Entrepenuer and Cooperative Development Minister Datuk Noh Omar said the normal process has waived for Nik Nur Madihah because of her excellent results.

She has proved that proverty is not an obstacle to success. This will also motivate the poor if they work hard enough, educational opportunities available for them.
